Homelessness & the UN Women's Rights Treaty
Testimony in Support of CEDAW Ratification
On November 18, the Senate Committee
on the Judiciary, Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Law held a hearing
to determine whether to recommend ratification of an international bill of
rights for women, the United Nations' Convention on the Elimination of All

Center on Homelessness
& Poverty submitted this statement to the subcommittee
in favor of the ratification of the convention, with particular attention paid to the link between gender-based violence and discrimination, and homelessness.
