Testimony Presented to the U.S. Government in the Universal Periodic Review Process

The Human Right to Housing in the U.S. - Eric Tars

The Universal Periodic Review holds UN member countries accountable to human rights standards by requiring that all members submit reports to the Human Rights Council every four years.  The United States will be reviewed for the first time this year. As a part of the review process, the U.S. government is required to consult with civil society as it creates its report to the UN.

This testimony was submitted by Human Rights Program Director Eric Tars to the U.S. government for the Non-Governmental Organization Consultation preceding the UPR.
